Where We're Heading
South Lane Mental Health has experienced tremendous growth over the past 15 years. In fact, we have outgrown our building and are in the process of acquiring and renovating the former Mt. David Medical Clinic. Once complete, this new counseling center will feature 25 counseling offices as well as space for play therapy, art therapy, and group sessions.
In addition to upgrading our facility, we plan to enhance technology so that South Lane Mental Health staff can communicate electronically with each other as well as with other medical providers.
- We are offering several new services, including:
- A regular grief and bereavement support group;
- Workshops on topics such as relationships, parenting, and aging; and
- Counseling for kids in Head Start, at the Family Relief Nursery, and at local schools.
